EXPOSURE/WASH OUT KITS

An exposure and wash out kit develops photoresist film for sandblasting. The exposure unit hardens your design under UV light through a film positive, then the washout sprayer rinses away the unexposed film, leaving a finished stencil ready to etch glass or crystal.
A Letralite is a compact UV exposure unit that develops photoresist film quickly, often in around 20 seconds. It wraps the film and positive around a UV bulb for even exposure, making it a popular choice for sandcarving shops and hobbyists developing their own stencils.
Washing out photoresist film requires a steady, pressurized fan spray to clear the unexposed areas cleanly. A standard kitchen or garden sprayer usually lacks the pressure, which can leave residue or damage fine detail. A dedicated washout unit gives consistent, repeatable results.
You need a UV exposure unit such as a Letralite, a printed film positive of your design, and a pressurized washout sprayer or station. Together these develop the film into a sandblasting stencil. An exposure and wash out kit bundles these essentials so you can start sandcarving.
Most Rayzist self-stick photoresist films, including SR3000, develop with a UV light source and a pressurized washout, so one exposure and wash out kit works across the range. Always follow the exposure time recommended for your specific film and light source for best results.
