The digital 14-9SSP china painting kiln is specifically designed for firing china paint. It has top firing temperature of 1700F or Cone 09. It does not fire hot enough for low fire clay. It uses the Sentinel TouchXpress Touchscreen Controller. Experiment with temperature holds to achieve brilliant, saturated china colors, or even fire glass in this wonderful little kiln!

OPTIONAL Heavy Duty Rolling Stand, 18” Square x 12” High
A deluxe, rock-solid kiln stand with locking casters, is now an option. STANDS ARE NOT INCLUDED. Please check the options box if you would like a stand included with your kiln order. You will enjoy the convenience of effortlessly moving the kiln out of the way when not in use.
The stand has a mounting bracket for the Orton Kiln Vent and a greenware drying rack. To install an Orton Kiln Vent, slide the vent collection cup into the vent bracket. The new stand eliminates the need for the collection cup mounting bolt.
Take advantage of the heat that radiates from the kiln. Load greenware on the lower shelf. The heat from the kiln will dry the ware to prepare it for the next firing. Save the time and electrical expense of drying the ware inside the kiln.
Assemble the stand with simple tools. The stand slides together with interlocking components that assemble with one size of a bolt.
The 14-9SSP fires to 1700°F on a 120 volt, 20 amp, 5-20R outlet. What is a dedicated circuit?
The lid comes with a lock-in lid support for easy loading and the Prop-R-Vent for two-stage venting of china paint fumes. The stand, complete with mar-proof plastic feet, is tall enough to accommodate the optional Orton Vent Master.
The heavy gauge stainless steel case is cold-rolled to the shape of the kiln for a tight fit. A heavy galvanized steel base covers the reversible brick bottom completely. It folds up under the stainless case on all sides to strengthen the firing chamber. This is one more assurance that your Paragon kiln is built to last.
Wires are fastened to the elements with heat-dissipating connectors refined and proven over many years in Paragon kilns. Elements are coiled from the finest high-temperature wire available.
