Full Stainless Steel Jackets
Multi-section, multi-jacketed kilns were conceived to lower production costs for the kiln manufacturer and to make life easier for the person installing the kiln. These are worthy goals but they come at the cost of kiln quality. It's a trade off we're not willing to make.
We build our kilns with full stainless jackets from top to bottom. Full stainless jackets mean absolutely solid, life extending construction. There are no leaks, no shifting and no weakness. Insist on Full Stainless Jackets for true build quality.

Multiple Control Options
The HF 1813 is available in a variety of controls including the Icon, Icon+, Tap II and Rampmaster II. At
Evenheat we take the best control platforms on the market and make them even better by adding Special Limits thermocouples for precise temperature sensing and non-metallic faceplates for stellar Wi-Fi reception for on-line Apps. Visit our Controls tab to learn more about our controls and why they represent the very best that you can get.
Quiet Drive Solid State Relay Option
The HF 1813 is available with our Quiet Drive Solid State Relay option. Our Quiet Drive Solid State Relay System offers tight temperature control, high reliability and increased heating element life. We fully expect our solid state relay to last the life of the unit. You want

Why Upgrade from Mechanical Relays to Solid-State Relays?
Mechanical Relays, which come standard on most kilns have internal moving parts which over time wear out and need to be replaced. Kiln manufacturers recommend you replace your mechanical relays approximately every 2 years. Solid-state relays have no moving parts and last far longer than standard mechanical relays and offer far better temperature control during hold times. Since solid-state relays also have no moving parts to wear out, they NEVER need to be replaced. You will notice that solid-state relays are silent. The only sound you will hear is just the reassuring hum of the heating elements. So, this factory upgrade saves you potential down time from having to wait for new relays to arrive, potential over-fires from relays sticking in the closed position, potential aggravation from having to learn how to remove and replace the mechanical relays yourself. We think this upgrade is well worth the cost and will save you time and aggravation over the life of your kiln.
About the NEW Icon Basic Touchscreen Controller...
The Icon basic touchscreen controller is built around Bartlett's new Spark platform and brings touchscreen design to the market at a lower price point. The Icon / Spark was rigorously field-tested by Bartlett, Evenheat and others over the latter course of 2023. Programming was found to be clean and simple. User interaction with the display was deemed excellent. As expected, the Quiet Drive Solid State relay performed beautifully. In the end, victory. As with other Evenheat control designs, the Icon adds to the existing Spark control platform with improvements like Special Limits thermocouples for precise temperature sensing and non-metallic faceplates for excellent Wi-Fi reception for the Bartlett on-line App. The Icon brings outstanding value and performance to the marketplace. **Kilnfrog Note: This is not the same controller as the Genesis-Mini which is the smaller version of the Icon+/Genesis 2.0 Controller. The Icon Basic, although it is a touchscreen, is a basic controller that does not have the same functionality as the Icon+ or the TAP controllers.
