Anneal large glass figurines in the digital Paragon F120 lamp working kiln. Raise the spring-loaded vertical-drop door to insert a glass figurine with a punty rod. Lower the door. The punty rod extends outside the firing chamber through the smaller 2” x 8” punty rod door. This allows the glass to anneal safely.
You can make figurines up to 5” tall in the F120. Maintain the annealing temperature indefinitely with the Sentinel TouchXpress Touchscreen Controller.
Ease of operation will delight you. Never before has lamp work been so easy in this price range. Imagine the massive, award-winning figurines you will make with this kiln.

Conversion stand included with the F120
The F120 comes with a heavy-duty Conversion Stand. The Conversion Stand adds a mandrel holder (also called a point rest) to your F120. Simply place the kiln on top of the Conversion Stand. Then adjust the mandrel holder vertically and horizontally. The holder slides inside steel tubes. The stainless steel mandrel rest includes 7 slots.
Pinless element grooves
The F120 elements are mounted in pinless grooves in the 3” thick firebrick roof. The element coils are wider than the groove opening, so the elements stay in place without pins. With the element in the top, you can also fuse and slump glass.
Imagine the glass you could sag, slump, and fuse with this kiln. Make small pendants, earrings, cufflinks, and even bracelets. Enjoy the glittering beauty of dichroics.
Solid State Relays
The Paragon F120 kiln has solid-state relays that are mounted to aluminum heat sinks. SSR's last far longer than standard mechanical relays and offer better temperature control during holds. SSR's also have no moving parts to wear out. You will also notice is that SSR's are silent. The only sound you will hear just the reassuring hum of the heating elements.

What is Lost Wax Casting? It is the process of making or carving a shape in wax, then making a mold of the wax shape, and then casting that shape into metal from the mold. The mold is a negative image of the wax. The wax is melted out of the mold through hollow channels called sprues. Lost wax burnout is the process of preparing a casting mold for the melted metal that will be poured into it.
Stainless Steel Wax Trays
If you want to do Lost Wax Casting, you'll need a stainless steel wax tray. Here's the one you'll need for this kiln; a Stainless Steel Wax Tray, 9″ X 8.5.″ This Stainless Steel Wax Tray system will fit well in your kiln and allow you to do lots of wax burnout.
Place your molds on the removable expanded metal top. The wax will drip from the molds into the tray underneath. Then remove the wax tray before the kiln gets hotter than 300°F / 148°C. Note: Burning wax inside a kiln can damage the firebricks. Check out this 9 x 8.5" Stainless Steel Wax Tray out to help you in your projects. Here's the link.
