PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

An S-type thermocouple wire is most often used for tighter accuracy in high firing kilns. S-Type thermocouples typically last longer than K-type thermos because they are made with higher temp wire and their sheaths are made of stronger ceramic materials. Does not include ceramic block, thermocouple and protection tube only.

Thermocouple (temperature sensor), S-type. For kilns with walls thicker than 3". The thermocouple is made in the U.S. with American-made components to exacting standards. The “special limit” thermocouple wire is certified to be close tolerance. Part#PY65
