This machine does not come with discs. If you just want to grind and then fire polish, this is a very economical option. Add-on the optional 100 grit diamond disc and you are good to go!

It is difficult to find reasonably priced flat laps of any quality in the current market. The Aeritool is about as good as they get at this price level. My only complaint so far is that the splash shield is not quite tall enough for me to use my 1/4” backing disc with a polishing media lap. Instead, I just use one of my coarse metal laps for supporting a polishing leather and that seems to work OK. The central shaft and arbor are sturdy enough to allow for this without any wobble. Shipping was fast.

This machine is excellent, we have it set up and full of different sized stones, slabs and preformed shapes and we are currently in the final polishing stage, the stones have maintained their shapes and are already very nicely polished.
