With a large 16” firing area, the Pro-Fusion Fiber 16 Square is perfect for fusing, slumping, Metal Clay, combing, roll-ups, glass painting & more! It is super flexible as you can fire directly on the bottom, or use shelf paper, fiberboard, or lava cloth. The all rigid fiber construction allows the Pro-Fusion Fiber 16 Square to heat and cools quickly and it reaches fusing temps in less than 90 minutes! And, at only 45 pounds it is lightweight, portable and ships UPS for fast delivery! Did we forget to mention that the Pro-Fusion Fiber 16 Square is designed as a clamshell. Once opened, the lid stays back to assemble projects with ease!
Want to protect the bottom-firing surface of your Jen-Ken fiber kiln? Now you can order a 15" square, rigidized-hard fiber shelf. This 1" thick shelf will give you even better insulation for firings and protect your kiln bottom from knicks and scrapes, giving you the smoothest surface for your work.
Why Upgrade from Mechanical Relays to Solid-State Relays?
Mechanical Relays, which come standard on most Jen-Ken fiber kilns have internal moving parts which over time wear out and need to be replaced. Kiln manufacturers recommend you replace your mechanical relays approximately every 2 years. Solid-state relays have no moving parts and last far longer than standard mechanical relays and offer far better temperature control during hold times. Since solid-state relays also have no moving parts to wear out, they NEVER need to be replaced. You will notice that solid-state relays are silent. The only sound you will hear is just the reassuring hum of the heating elements. So, this factory upgrade saves you potential down time from having to wait for new relays to arrive, potential over-fires from relays sticking in the closed position, potential aggravation from having to learn how to remove and replace the mechanical relays yourself. We think this upgrade is well worth the cost and will save you time and aggravation over the life of your kiln.

I love these kilns!
They’re easy to use, and perfect for what I use them for! (I like them so much, I now have six of them)

JEN-KEN PROFUSION FIBER 16 KILN
I love love my new Jen-Ken Fiber Kiln. I have been using it for about 1 month. This is my first clam shell type kiln and I love not having to lean over into a deeper kiln. For me it is just the right size. This kiln is easy to use and setup. It was definitely worth the wait. Thank you Kilnfrog for keeping me posted along the way, while I waited for my kiln to arrive.

Friendly efficient Wonderful service thank you
