I have run this kiln about 7 or 8 times now, mostly single firing wild clay to Cone 1, a couple of bisques to 06, and a firing with ash glaze to cone 10. This is my first kiln so I don't have anything to compare it to, experience-wise, but my pieces are coming out great and the operation is nice and easy. Cycles are finishing in the amount of time they're supposed to.
The kiln is small but works for my needs: teaware, bowls, cups, small vases (6-10" tall), etc. If you are considering this kiln, I recommend doing what I did and tracing out the inner dimensions on a flat surface and placing some of your pieces on the oval to get a better idea of what fits. For my purposes, an oval shape is better because I can fit 2 pieces side by side, a circular kiln would allow for larger diameters but fewer round pieces next to each other.
I'm in an apartment so finding a kiln that runs on 120v 15a was key. It's plugged into a normal outlet and it's working great.
