A deluxe, rock-solid kiln stand with locking casters, is now an option. STANDS ARE NOT INCLUDED. Please check the options box if you would like a stand included with your kiln order. You will enjoy the convenience of effortlessly moving the kiln out of the way when not in use. The stand is rock solid. It fits together with interlocking components that assemble with one size of bolt. (Ships unassembled.)
The 18” tall stand raises the kiln to a convenient height for loading and unloading. Should you need a vent, merely slide the collection cup of an Orton vent into a mounting bracket on the top of the stand.
Take advantage of the heat that radiates from the kiln. Load greenware on the lower shelf. The heat from the kiln will dry the ware to prepare it for the next firing. Save the time and electrical expense of drying the ware inside the kiln.
Assemble the stand with simple tools. The stand slides together with interlocking components that assemble with one size of bolt.

Most impressively, with a 3" thick brick wall and a temperature rating of 2300°F, this heavily insulated kiln can fire ceramics on a 120 volt, 20 amp outlet! This is a kiln you will never outgrow. If you later buy a larger kiln, continue to use it for testing or small projects. Or, perfect a new design in the small kiln before running production quantities in the large kiln. Heavily insulated
The walls are 4 1/2” thick! The 2 1/2” thick firebricks are backed with an extra 2” of block insulation between the firebricks and the stainless steel case. The lid is 3” thick, and the bottom is 4 1/2” thick.

Although a small kiln it works well for my jewelry and small creations. Easy to program whether you use the presets or do custom settings.

For me this kiln has preformed well it is a quality product. I have only used the pre programmed settings so far and everything I have fired has turned out well. The kilns interior is small but well suited for me because I make dolls and small decorative items.

Overall I love my kiln. Only
Complaint —a bit surprised that after first few uses bricks cracked and chipped.
Even so- it works perfectly. I hope to upgrade next year.
