Evolution and Intelligent Design... Evenheat has taken the popular Studio Pro and equipped it with their Set-Pro digital temperature control. Now you can enjoy the benefits of the Studio Pro's unique dual access design with programmable firing.
The design of the Evenheat Studio Pro STP glass kiln was driven by the demands of glasswork. Glass work is a fairly active process. It relies heavily on visual cues, opening, and closing while firing, fast action and all sorts of movement. It's a lot of fun and the Studio Pro only adds to the enjoyment. It doesn't hinder, compromise or get in the way. It just works well.
The Evenheat Studio Pro STP glass kiln is capable of all firings up to 1800°F (982°C). Acceptable materials include glass, metal clays, metal processing, low fire ceramics, enamels, and china paint.
No additions needed... this kiln comes with a viewing window!
The Dual Access Design combines traditional front and top loading features into one, truly revolutionary kiln. The Studio Pro STP offers more in performance and flexibility than any other kiln in its class.
When added to your order, the Studio Pro STP Furniture Kit includes: two (2) 7.25" square shelves, a 24 oz. bottle of kiln wash and a haik brush.

Front Access
The defining feature of the Studio Pro design is its front access. Simply lift the chamber to expose the entire floor. It's wall-free and wide open. Front access is perfect for glass placement: simply build directly on
your shelf and close the chamber. Front access is also great when using tools that require a horizontal approach such as raking, roll ups and
manipulation techniques.
Top Access
The Studio Pro STP features top access as part of the dual access design. Top access is excellent for the loading of shelves and forms as it allows for easy and precise placement. Top access is also preferred for many vertical-approach manipulation techniques such as embossing. Top access also makes venting possible with the 2 position vent.
Fiber & Firebrick Design
The Studio Pro STP is constructed of both fiber and firebrick. Fiber is used to speed up the firing process and lighter weight. We use fiber for both the floor and lid. Firebrick is used for its excellent heat-storage properties which helps smooth out temperature swings and is awesome for annealing. By its nature, firebrick cleans up the temperature fluctuations that are seen
in "all-fiber" kiln designs. The Studio Pro STP gives you the best of both worlds.
Icon Controller Equipped
As of January 2024, the Studio Pro STP is equipped with the Icon Control. The Icon is built around Bartlett Instruments Spark platform. The Icon was rigorously field-tested by Bartlett, Evenheat and others over the
latter course of 2023. Programming was found to be clean and simple. User interaction with the display was deemed excellent. Performance was nothing less than top-notch. In the end, victory and we're pleased to
offer it.
As with other Evenheat control designs, the Icon adds to an existing control platform with improvements like Special Limits thermocouples for precise temperature sensing and non-metallic faceplates for excellent
Wi-Fi reception for mobile Apps. The Icon brings outstanding value and performance to the marketplace.
2 Position Lid Vent
Lid venting is great when you're firing off adhesives or binders. It's also great for speeding up the cooling process. The 2 position lid vent on the Studio Pro STP positions the lid at approximately 1/2" and 1". Just lift and swivel to the height you want.
Bench-Top Operation
The Studio Pro STP is designed to be placed directly on your counter or bench-top. Bench-top operation positions the kiln at waist level for very comfortable front access use. Please note that counters and bench tops must be constructed of non-combustible material and be capable of supporting the load of the kiln.
Power Cord Exits at Rear
The power cable on the Studio Pro STP exits the control panel to the rear. This keeps it away from the kiln chamber while keeping your work area
free of clutter. It's a very minor detail but one that we haven't overlooked.
120V Standard Plug
The Studio Pro STP operates from 120V and is equipped with a standard North American 120V plug. Connection is very easy. We do make the Studio Pro STP in global voltages as well, by request. Please see the Build Options section below for details.

Viewing Window Option
Keep an eye on your glass firing without having to peek through an open lid. Order your Studio Pro STP with our 2" x 4" viewing window. Our viewing window is designed for applications up to 1800°F (982°C)
non-continuous. That means all glass firing up to this temperature is absolutely acceptable. The viewing window is not designed for higher temperatures into the ceramic/porcelain/glass crucible range.
About the NEW Icon Basic Touchscreen Controller...
The Icon basic touchscreen controller is built around Bartlett's new Spark platform and brings touchscreen design to the market at a lower price point. The Icon / Spark was rigorously field-tested by Bartlett, Evenheat and others over the latter course of 2023. Programming was found to be clean and simple. User interaction with the display was deemed excellent. As expected, the Quiet Drive Solid State relay performed beautifully. In the end, victory. As with other Evenheat control designs, the Icon adds to the existing Spark control platform with improvements like Special Limits thermocouples for precise temperature sensing and non-metallic faceplates for excellent Wi-Fi reception for the Bartlett on-line App. The Icon brings outstanding value and performance to the marketplace. **Kilnfrog Note: This is not the same controller as the Genesis-Mini which is the smaller version of the Icon+/Genesis 2.0 Controller. The Icon Basic, although it is a touchscreen, is a basic controller that does not have the same functionality as the Icon+ or the TAP controllers.
This is the first time I have used a kiln. It was so simple to use and easy to program. The window allows me to see my project and learn how glass reacts to different temperatures. I would highly recommend!

I replaced one of my malfunctioning Paragon Caldera kilns with this little kiln. It is efficient and easy to use with the hinged lid. It's so nice to not have to lift a heavy kiln!

As a novice at glass fusing and casting I’ve learned a lot from reading the Evenheat manual, YouTube videos, and trial and error. My results get better each time I use it.

I do like this kiln for the clamshell style, being able to put items on the bottom by lifting the whole firing box or just lifting the top lid to put stuff down into it or comb with the top open is great; just wish it was all fiber and manual control but for my first controller kiln it is nice and pretty accurate.

Not like I need another kiln but I was so happy with my other Evenheat I decided this would be perfect for small projects or testing colors.
The people at Kiln Frog were great, answering any of my questions and getting back to me in a timely manner.
Very happy with purchase and Kiln Frog!
