The Copper is a great 120V annealer for the beginners and small studios. With user friendly features like 120V operation and Set-Pro control the Copper excels at ease of use. The Copper kiln is built entirely of firebrick to offer the metal clay artist the opportunity to explore materials in the higher temperature ranges. Many clays require temperatures up to 2200F and the Copper has the capability to get you there. The Copper also finds use in China and Porcelain painting, Ceramics,  and glass. The Copper is stock equipped with our easy to use Set-Pro control with preset metal clays programs as well as allowing for custom programming. The Copper pottery kiln sits comfortably on table tops and includes a stand.

Why Upgrade from Mechanical Relays to Solid-State Relays?

Mechanical Relays, which come standard on most kilns have internal moving parts which over time wear out and need to be replaced.  Kiln manufacturers recommend you replace your mechanical relays approximately every 2 years.  Solid-state relays have no moving parts and last far longer than standard mechanical relays and offer far better temperature control during hold times.  Since solid-state relays also have no moving parts to wear out, they NEVER need to be replaced.  You will notice that solid-state relays are silent.  The only sound you will hear is just the reassuring hum of the heating elements.  So, this factory upgrade saves you potential down time from having to wait for new relays to arrive, potential over-fires from relays sticking in the closed position, potential aggravation from having to learn how to remove and replace the mechanical relays yourself.  We think this upgrade is well worth the cost and will save you time and aggravation over the life of your kiln.

                      Evenheat Copper with TAP

We bought a paragon SC3 earlier in the year that has been the worst experience ever! So, we purchased the Evenheat Copper with a TAP and it has been awesome! Reliable, easy to use and works great! The TAP controller is so wonderful! It’s easy, everything is laid out on the screen and I can check on my kiln through my iPhone:)
