Introducing the latest Tempering oven model, complete with a range of new key features alongside the reliable ones you've come to expect from Evenheat:
Stand Alone Placement The LT tempering ovens offer versatility in
placement, allowing you to stack them onto an existing Evenheat model or place
them directly on a workbench. However, it's essential to ensure that the chosen
workbench is constructed from non-combustible materials and possesses the
necessary strength to support the oven's load.
NEW! Stackable Design! The LT tempering
ovens are specifically crafted to be easily installed on top of existing
Evenheat KF, LB, or KO models, offering a space-saving solution with their
stackable design. These LT models are compatible with both current chamfered
and older rounded corner production models, ensuring versatility even with aged
equipment. **However, it's important to note that LT models are not compatible
with KH models. Their design is tailored to fit atop corresponding depth KF,
LB, and KO models seamlessly.**
NEW! An
easily identifiable Maintenance Tag! To assist you in
replacing worn items they have included a maintenance parts tag on the LT 27
indicating the proper Evenheat part numbers for anticipated maintenance items.
All these amazing features built on the legacy of what knifemakers have come to
expect from a heat treat oven:
Firebrick Design: These LT models, just
like all their heat treat ovens, are made entirely from firebrick. Firebrick is
great at holding onto heat and releasing it slowly, which is exactly what you would
need during the heat treat process. It's what makes their ovens so effective
for heat treating!
Cool Touch Handle: These ovens come equipped with a handy Cool Touch
Handle feature. You'll find it right at the front of the door. Made from special
material called phenolic, it stays cool even when the oven's hot. Plus, it's
designed to be used with just one hand and doubles as the latch for the door.
Door Shield: The LT models are equipped with a door shield, which
serves a dual purpose: safeguarding against firebrick damage and minimizing the
temperature experienced at the door and door handle..
Power Interrupt Switch Equipped: The LT models are standard equipped with a
power interrupt switch that removes electrical power from all heating elements as
the door is opened and re-applies power as the door is closed. The switch that
is used for this is a dedicated safety feature. It's designed to forcefully
separate any connections that might get stuck, ensuring maximum safety.
Relay Access Port: All
LT models are equipped with a convenient Relay Access Port, designed for
hassle-free relay replacement without the need to remove any panels. Simply
remove the access plate to gain direct access to the mechanical relays. No need
to remove the control panel or deal with internal wiring—just a straightforward
process with a screwdriver. Considering the eventual likelihood of mechanical
relay failures, this access port proves to be a great feature that offers ease
and efficiency in maintenance tasks when they arise.
Icon Touch Screen Controller:
All LT models are equipped with Icon temperature control. This technology, built on Bartlett Instruments' Spark platform, features specialized limit thermocouples for accuratetemperature monitoring. Moreover, its non metallic faceplates ensure optimal Wi-Fi reception forseamless integration with the Bartlett online App.
OPTIONS:
Why upgrade from Mechanical Relays to Solid-State Relays? Mechanical Relays, which
come standard on most kilns have internal moving parts which over time wear out
and need to be replaced. Kiln manufacturers recommend you replace your
mechanical relays approximately every 2 years. Solid-state relays have no
moving parts and last far longer than standard mechanical relays and offer far
better temperature control during hold times. Since solid-state relays
also have no moving parts to wear out, they NEVER need to be replaced.
You will notice that solid-state relays are silent. The only sound you
will hear is just the reassuring hum of the heating elements. So, this
factory upgrade saves you potential down time from having to wait for new
relays to arrive, potential over-fires from relays sticking in the closed
position, potential aggravation from having to learn how to remove and replace
the mechanical relays yourself. We think this upgrade is well worth the
cost and will save you time and aggravation over the life of your kiln.
